Vanilla ice-cream packed in a small pumpkin. I found this very attractive to look at. This is what i always love about the Japanese food preparation….they not only produce best tasty dishes but they make sure it is appealing to the eyes. And boy!!! was it tasty….left my tongue numb there.
Yummy strawberry soft ice-cream. I thought this looked interesting too. The way the cup full of ice-cream crushed down with the cone. Nicely decorated, left me with a watery mouth too…what better way to enjoy a summer day with some fancy looking ice-creams

We made our last trip to Ehime on Saturday. Ehime is another prefecture/province just an hour thirty minutes drive from Kagawa.
We were given a BBQ party by Teru’s best friend and his family.
We got picked up at 4:30pm by 6:45pm we arrived in Ehime where the party was held. Presents and letters were given as we took our seats, followed by beers and Kampais as aroma of mixed food and scent from the sea filled the air. Yes, the party was held at the boat yard… thankyous and more bows followed as gifts were given. I read our letters in Japanese….very touching.
Totut as usual was the center of attention…did alot of running around, imitating and singing too. Things i like about partys in Japan…is the food and beer followed by jokes and laughter then once in the mood, you hear people trying their best to converse in english. The Japanese food am going to realy miss. For how long…? I don’t know. Not for long I hope.

ToTut went out with his friends yesterday evening and came back all dressed in a Japanese traditional summer wear. I thought he looked so cute and handsome in it. His friends thought so too.

There has been warning that typhoon man-yi will come over Kagawa today. The powerful typhoon is slamming southern Japan with heavy rains and strong winds leaving people homeless and hundred of flights grounded.
It has already arrived in Kagawa, we are feeling the force of it now. It’s quite windy and raining outside. The winds are so strong i can just feel them rushing and squeezing through what ever gap they can find through the sliding doors and windows of our apartment. The curtains are dancing with the blow of the wind. The road outside is flooded, but not enough to stop the moving vehicles.
The doors, windows, trees, roofs and roaring sounds are producing combine unfamiliar noise of warning to the general public.
The TV programmes have been interupted every 45 miutes bringing the latest wheather update and news.
We planed to go for some ice-cream party today however our trip was cancelled. Maybe some other time cos according to the whaether report it will be wet for the whole week. Well it has been raining since last week.
