This will be my last post from Kagawa, Japan.
Its 2:30 am (Friday morning) am still up doing bites and pieces of packing and rechecking for the trip tonight. Before that around 12 mid night i had these:
This is my favourate Japanese dish, Sashimi with wasabi and the famous Kikoman sauce. Yes, they are raw and yummy too. Well, 12 midnight! what would i say? Dinner, breaky or mid-nightlunch….lol… don’t know. Oh! maybe “excited-hunger”. :mr green:
These are some Japanese dishes i love:
Sushi with marinated ginger on decoration. Raw fish over the rice (specially prepared). Gently dip it into the sauce and then shove all of it into your mouth….yummy. Thats how they do it here. Then slowly munch it absorbing all the taste.
Yes! Oshi-so ne minna-san. All raw sea food. Yes, i had the pleasure of eating almost all of it, and boy did it go down well with Asahi biru.
And more Japanese dish. The white silver tray with dark green strip is Onigiri. That is my son ToTut’s favourate. The green strip is the dried sea weed or Nori in Japanese.
Now that i have shown you some of my favourate Japanese dishes, why don’t you go find a Japanese restaraunt.

Oops sovey! sorry! i have been very busy this week. Packing & shifting, here and there! there and here! Am not sure if this will be my last post from Kagawa, Japan. Yes, the long awaited trip is just two days away.
I can’t wait to go home. Home sweet home awaits us. Calling our names, whispering even. I thought they did. I was only dreaming. If only dreams were real. Would the world be different. I don’t think so. The world would be less interesting. Seems so real, but it was just a dream. Only a dream. Minds playing about. Generating some thoughts thought for the trip. How I will wait, not so long away i feel it. Soon, very soon it’s here already.

And so its Saturday…..like this time next week i will be in Tokyo. Am having mixed emotions as the days are nearing. Should i be happy, sad, excited…i honestly don’t know this unfamiliar feelings.
But it is good for me, for us, the future.
ToTut is out again, am relaxing with the ac full speed… the packings? well we are half way there.
We have dinner tonight with ToTut’s best friends… adult best friends. Well, he has no friends his age. I think the only time he plays with kids his age are when we go to Ehime for weekends and holidays with family friends. No wounder he acts like adult most times. We have been shifting things here and there for the last few days… its so tiring.
Am not sure if this is my last post from Kagawa, Japan. If tomorrow (Sunday) permits you’ll see some thing up. Otherwise sayounara.

Vanilla ice-cream packed in a small pumpkin. I found this very attractive to look at. This is what i always love about the Japanese food preparation….they not only produce best tasty dishes but they make sure it is appealing to the eyes. And boy!!! was it tasty….left my tongue numb there.
Yummy strawberry soft ice-cream. I thought this looked interesting too. The way the cup full of ice-cream crushed down with the cone. Nicely decorated, left me with a watery mouth too…what better way to enjoy a summer day with some fancy looking ice-creams

We made our last trip to Ehime on Saturday. Ehime is another prefecture/province just an hour thirty minutes drive from Kagawa.
We were given a BBQ party by Teru’s best friend and his family.
We got picked up at 4:30pm by 6:45pm we arrived in Ehime where the party was held. Presents and letters were given as we took our seats, followed by beers and Kampais as aroma of mixed food and scent from the sea filled the air. Yes, the party was held at the boat yard… thankyous and more bows followed as gifts were given. I read our letters in Japanese….very touching.
Totut as usual was the center of attention…did alot of running around, imitating and singing too. Things i like about partys in Japan…is the food and beer followed by jokes and laughter then once in the mood, you hear people trying their best to converse in english. The Japanese food am going to realy miss. For how long…? I don’t know. Not for long I hope.
