My Life In Kagawa – Japan

bits and pieces, here and there in Kagawa

Entry for July 4th

Posted by Dorish on July 4, 2007

I look out my window, all i see are walls. Walls of buildings. But hang on a minute! they look different today. I can see the rain dripping on the walls. That is why today feels and looks different. No wounder. The day is so cool and comforting…a relaxing kind of day. A kind of day where you have a warm cup of cocoa milk and have a nice novel in your hand. Or simply watch TV and dose in and out of dream… if you know what i mean.

Noticed ToTut looking out the window from time to time too. He must be enjoying the change of wheather too.The longest nap he had had since summer began…two and a half hours- thanks to the rain.

I sat with the laptop on my lap and typed what words that came into mind. Just one of my writing moods.
Ok! am not so poetic, nor am a writer, but i just try to write, write and write.

RAIN

/

Rain! rain! rain!
Drops i hear, drops i see
Drips and drops! drips and drops!
Rain! rain! rain!
Lttle rain drops! little rain drops
You have come along way
A long way from up above the sky
Little rain drops falling from the sky
Washing every dirt off from the walls! off the roof!
Wash! wash! wash them off!
With little rain drops! little rain drops!
Rain! rain! rain! you come from the sky!
Is rain sad? is rain upset?
crying rain! crying rain!
Cheer up rain! cheer up rain!
Do not be worried for the sun will meet you soon
I love the rain
And so does the plants
They stand tall with branches out wide to have you
We all love the little rain drops
